Every once in a while, we get invited to photograph something so meaningful that we have to pause and take it all in. This 25th anniversary celebration was one of those days. What began as one couple planning to renew their vows turned into three longtime friends, Marizel, Josie & Deb, realizing they were all celebrating the same milestone year. Instead of three separate parties, they chose one beautiful, shared celebration surrounded by their children, their church community, and decades of memories. The ceremony at St. John’s Resort was heartfelt and emotional in all the best ways. There were knowing glances, joyful tears, and the kind of laughter that only comes from twenty five years of shared life.
The celebration continued at St. Mary’s Cultural Center where the joy only multiplied. Three cake cuttings. Three first dances with their children. And one unforgettable performance where all of their kids came together to sing for their parents. There truly was not a dry eye in the room. It felt less like an event and more like stepping into a living legacy of love and friendship. We were deeply honored to be welcomed into their community to capture these moments. Days like this remind us that love does not just last. It grows, it deepens, and sometimes it brings three families together on one dance floor.
