Briana and Sal | Engagement Photography at Longacre House in Farmington

There is something so effortlessly romantic about wandering the grounds of a historic estate with two people totally smitten with each other. Briana and Salvatore brought all the good vibes to their engagement session at the charming Longacre House in Farmington, Michigan. With its ivy-covered walls, blooming gardens and timeless feel, it was the perfect spot for these two to laugh, spin, dip and maybe sneak in a practice first dance or two. They were relaxed, playful and totally into the moment, and we loved every second of capturing it.

Engagement sessions are one of our favorite parts of the wedding journey. They are like a fun, low-pressure warmup for the big day. No timelines, no pressure, just you two getting cozy in front of the camera while we get to know your vibe. Plus, couples love having a set of more casual, joyful images they can use for save-the-dates, websites, venue decor or just to finally update that photo frame that’s been sitting empty for three years. Sessions like Briana and Salvator’s remind us how much joy there is in capturing love when it’s all just beginning to take shape.

We can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year at St. John Vianney Catholic Church and reception at The Palazzo Grande. Check out a few faves from their engagement session:
