Some wedding days are beautiful because of the details, and others stick with you because of the way two people look at each other. Katelyn and Rob’s wedding at Saint John’s Resort had plenty of both. From the quiet moments early in the day to their emotional ceremony and portraits around the beautiful grounds, these two could barely take their eyes off each other. You could see the excitement, emotion, and love on their faces all day long, which made our job behind the cameras pretty easy. @haleymakayevents kept everything flowing beautifully, @viviano_flower_shop filled the celebration with gorgeous florals, and Katelyn looked absolutely incredible in her @valstefani gown from @b_ella_bridal, with hair and makeup by @configurebeautydetroit, @robbinkujusmakeup, and @featherandmanehair.
Once the happy tears were mostly under control, it was time to celebrate. The reception at @saintjohnsresort was filled with heartfelt speeches, plenty of laughter, and a dance floor that came alive thanks to @bluewaterkingsband. Through all the music, dancing, hugs, and celebration, our favorite thing remained the same: catching Katelyn and Rob finding each other across the room and sharing those little looks that said everything. It was an emotional, joyful wedding surrounded by the people they love most, and exactly the kind of day we never get tired of photographing.
